I’m Here for You

What should I expect from my first session?

During your first Reiki session we will discuss your goals for treatment. I will briefly go over your overall health and I will check the major energy points on your body (also called chakras).  You will then receive 60 minutes of channeled Reiki energy that will start on your head and follow the bodies energy points down to your feet.  You are fully clothed and comfortable on a massage table, light music and an eye bag will be offered. Masks for you are optional, I will have one on, as well as air filtration throughout the treatment space. It is much appreciated that you postpone your appointment if you are ill or have been exposed to Covid19.

Do you help treat terminal or chronic illness?

Absolutely! Any injury, illness, or pain can be challenging, but chronic ailments require us to be smart about our self care. When unmanaged, it can really get us down. Energy treatments can ease our thoughts around chronic conditions and help discover our limiting beliefs around our circumstances. Reiki energy is also beneficial in any difficult life transitions, especially our last one. Reiki brings compassion and calm to end of life care for the patient and their family,  It is also a gentle compliment to any medical condition that requires surgery, chemotherapy/ radiation treatments, on going physical therapy or pain management.

How should I prepare for my first treatment?

I will personally confirm your appointment 24-48 hours ahead of time. There are no specific preparations that you need to do prior to an energy session but there are some general guidelines that help enhance relaxation and keep you more comfortable.

1. Stay hydrated and get your water in that day.  Water helps cleanse our body, transports oxygen, benefits concentration and memory (the brain is ~80% water!) and overall helps us function at our best.

2. Have at least a light snack so your are satiated and not distracted by hunger during your session.

3. Remember to relax and check in with yourself. It is these small but significant moments that help us recognize our authentic self.  This is where real change can begin!
